At Nova Arts Hub, our space is available for rent, offering an inspiring setting for events, workshops, meetings, and more.
Funding from rentals directly feeds into our programming and projects. Whether you are a likeminded group looking for an event, or a group of allies hoping to support our local business, we want to create a space with you.
Our goal is to support and foster community-driven projects, and we’re thrilled to provide a welcoming environment where ideas can grow. Why Share the Space?
Nova Arts Hub is focused on bringing artists, activists, and organizers together who have a vision for liberation. Nova is focused on creating more spaces for different individuals and collectives to come together in order to actualize their dreams, gather, create, etc. See the next few slides to get a better idea of what to expect when renting or collaborating with Nova.
Renting Vs. Collaborating
With Nova, we offer two approaches: Renting and collaborating. The goal of renting is to offer a physical space for community members, with the amenities we have, independently. This means that Nova will not be involved in the planning, facilitation, or cleanup of the event. Alternatively, you are also invited to collaborate with Nova. This will be determined on a case by case basis, but it may include: support with outreach, prep, facilitation, etc. This may also look like co-creating a workshop or event together.
Renting
Looking for a space to host your next event, workshop, or creative project? Nova Arts Hub offers a versatile and welcoming environment perfect for a variety of community and cultural gatherings. With flexible space arrangements, cozy seating, and basic amenities, our venue is ideal for those seeking an inclusive, creative atmosphere. Whether you're organizing an art showcase, a team meeting, or a collaborative workshop, our space can adapt to fit your needs. Some amenities include: a multi-stall bathroom (2 stalls), a privet bathroom, a storage closet, 25 fordable chairs, cozy corner with bookshelf and table, food table/ crafting table, and two spaces in one (the space is divided by a wall in the centre of the room assuring that there can be two separate spaces for use. Plus, if your project aligns with Nova’s mission, we’re open to discussing collaborative possibilities (see next slide for more information). Collaborating
If you’re interested in a more integrated approach, you’re invited to explore collaboration with Nova. Collaborative opportunities are determined on a case-by-case basis and can include various forms of support, such as outreach, preparation, or facilitation assistance. This approach can be as simple as lending a hand with logistics or as immersive as co-creating a workshop or event that aligns with Nova’s mission.By collaborating, you gain access not only to the physical space but also to Nova's networks, expertise, and creative resources, creating an enriched experience for your event participants.Interested? As a community-centered space, we are committed to fostering a safe and respectful environment for all who enter. Nova operates as a safety container for community expression, and we prioritize events and projects that align with our ethics and values. If your planned event does not fully align with Nova’s core values, we may need to discuss further to determine if it's the right fit. We take care to ensure that every gathering respects the space, creating an atmosphere that upholds our collective community standards.
