As an Artist, activist, Community Organizer...
There are many opportunities to get involved! Whether that is through facilitating workshops, selling your art in the gallery, or being involved as a participant- welcome!
At the core of this work is relationships. So if you are interested in future retail opportunities, facilitating, or exhibitions, please start by attending some of the drop-in studio events or the other gatherings happening. Artists within our Nova community will always be prioritized for these opportunities. See the 'Artist Sign up' button on the bottom left corner of the screen to be updated with any upcoming events.
As a Participant...
All events happening in the space are for individuals who come from cultures that have historically been oppressed. If you fit this criteria, you are invited to attend any events. No artistic experience is necessary to participate. See the email sign up at the bottom of this page to be updated with events.
As a Volunteer...
There are a lot of skills I do not have (and I mean a lot)! Volunteers are always appreciated in order to sustain Nova Arts Hub.
As a Donor...
As a new business that focuses on community, we rely heavily on donations to make Nova Arts Hub sustainable! Big or small, ever contribution makes a difference. If you are interested in sponsorships, please let us know in your email and we will send you our sponsorship package.
Indigenous Engagement Fund
Starting with a generous donation of an artist we partnered with (Hina) who wanted to donate her compensation for an exhibition, we open the Indigenous Engagement Fund! Between Hina's donation and Nova's contribution, we have $500 that is reserved to offer free tickets for Indigenous community members who want to attend our events free of cost. If you are interested in contributing towards this fund and allowing us to continue this offering, click the link below to donate.
