MUSE Drop-In Art Studios

Looking for a new muse for your artwork? Looking to connect with other artists and build community?  This drop-in studio is for you!While most drop-in studios are solely focused on creating or having a physical location to do your projects, Nova Drop In Studios are focused on building a container for artists to collaborate, innovate, and build community in an environment that continuously attempts to become more culturally centered and trauma informed. For the ‘MUSE ART STUDIO’ artists are at any level art invited to a unique drop in studio space that always starts with introductions, a chance to share about any projects you're working on, and a chance to ask fro support from the fellow artists. After this, artists are invited to use the creative materials provided (or bring their own) to inspire new ideas in a group setting.

A major goal for the studio drop ins is to create a container where artists feel safe, comfortable, and loved. For myself, I want to create a space that feels like I’m going to an aunt's house- where I can be loved and cared for unconditionally, free of judgment, and based on hospitality. So, we hope to make this space feel like just that. We will do this by…

  •  Providing clear guidelines for assuring safe, trauma-informed, and judgment free interactions
  • Offering snacks and beverages
  • Welcoming members into a facebook page where artists can connect virtually
  • Approaching our work with community care, love, and generosity

-Communal Supplies

We offer communal art supplies which will vary. If you have specific questions about what is currently offered, please reach out. If you have specific projects you are working on, you are also encouraged to bring your own supplies to assure its available
